Its team prides itself on delivering reliable, cost‑effective engineered solutions while working closely with customers to meet exacting performance and safety expectations\n\nDescription\n\nAs the Engineering Manager (NPI, Mechanical Design, Technical) you will be tasked with the following;\n\nManage end-to-end new product introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.\nScrutinise and ensure product ranges are feasible for manufacture (DFMEA, DFM, PFMEA)\nLead a small team of engineers to develop new and existing product range\nProvide Technical support to customers in order to talk through technical drawings, issues and products.\nEnsure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to achieve project goals.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports.\nIdentify and implement process improvements to optimise production efficiency.\nAct as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers.\nMonitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering and manufacturing departments. \n\nProfile\n\nA successful Engineering Manager (NPI, Mechanical Design, Technical) should have:\n\nA degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant Mechanical Engineering field.\nProven experience in managing new product introduction (NPI) projects within the industrial/manufacturing sector.\nA strong mechanical engineering background couple with NPI & customer facing exposure\nAn ability to communicate clearly and effectively to customers and internal colleagues.\nStrong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.\nExcellent project management and organisational skills.\nAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nProficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
