We are representing a world class, Fortune500 industrial manufacturing organization that, due to their continued growth, is seeking to hire for a newly created Senior Site Engineering Manager role. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this high-visibility position will lead a large team and have ownership for program and launch execution. This permanent/direct-hire opportunity will be based in the Greater Nashville, TN area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead overall program and launch execution for new and existing business, from award through SOP and stabilization, ensuring timing, cost, and quality targets are met.
- Manage and develop a large team of Program Managers and Engineers.
- Oversee launch of automated / robotic assembly lines.
- Partner closely with commercial/program teams on quoting, change management, and product lifecycle decisions, balancing technical and business considerations.
- Guide the use of structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methods to close launch and production issues.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with plant leadership, key suppliers, and customer contacts to support successful launches.
- Identify, develop, and mentor high-potential talent within the engineering and program organizations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (engineering ).
- 5+ years in automotive engineering, program management, and/or commercial-facing leadership, ideally in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with new product/line launch, preferably involving metal stamping and/or robotic welding/assembly.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functions and levels, including plant leadership and customer teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
