Job Title: Engineering Manager (Java, React, Playwright)

Location: Dallas, Texas

Job Type: Full-Time (W2 Only)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing full-stack team delivering scalable, enterprise-grade applications. This role requires a balance of technical depth and leadership to drive product quality, team growth, and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cross-functional team of backend and frontend engineers
• Drive design, development, and delivery using Java (Spring Boot) and React
• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from architecture to deployment
• Ensure best practices in code quality, scalability, and system performance
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders on technical strategy and roadmaps
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and support career progression
• Promote agile methodologies to enhance team productivity
• Encourage automation-first QA practices (Playwright with TypeScript )
• Utilize SQL and Python for data processing, integrations, and backend tasks

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years in an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead role
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and React
• Experience leading full-stack development teams
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and system design
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with QA automation frameworks, especially Playwright (TypeScript)
