Are you a dynamic and experienced engineering professional ready to take the wheel of a bustling Passenger Service Vehicle (PSV) depot? We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Manager to lead our client’s maintenance and engineering team.



The Role

As our Engineering Manager, you'll be the linchpin of the operations, ensuring the fleet of passenger service vehicles is maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. You'll lead a dedicated team of technicians and engineers, overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. This isn't just a desk job; it's a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly impact the reliability and safety of our service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of skilled engineers

• Managing all engineering operations, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.

• Ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards.

• Budgeting and resource allocation for the engineering department.

• Implementing new technologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

What We're Looking For

We need a leader with a proven track record in a similar heavy vehicle or PSV environment. You should have a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and a knack for problem-solving. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills are essential. A relevant engineering qualification is highly desirable.
