Maintenance Manager

Erith, UK | Heavy Industrial Manufacturing

We are recruiting a Maintenance Manager to lead reliability and asset performance at a large-scale, high-volume industrial site in Erith.

This is a senior leadership role overseeing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities and facilities maintenance within a continuous process environment.

Key focus areas:

• Lead site-wide maintenance and reliability strategy
• Drive safety, compliance (PUWER, LOLER, COMAH) and food safety standards
• Deliver preventative and predictive maintenance best practice
• Improve KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, cost control)
• Look after al contractors
• Minimise site downtime.
• Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets and annual shutdowns
• Develop and lead a multidisciplinary technical team
• Embed structured reliability methodologies (RCM, FMEA, RCA)

We’re looking for:

• Degree-qualified Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineer, you will have a strong reliability background.
• Proven leadership experience within a large industrial or process manufacturing plant
• Strong technical grounding in mechanical and E&I disciplines
• Experience with CMMS systems (Maximo )
• A hands-on, pragmatic leader who drives performance and accountability
