Job Description

Job title: Engineering Manager

Job type: Contract (B2B)

Contract Length: 6-12 months

Rate: £700-£800 per day inside IR35 (depending on experience)

Role Location: London, UK (3 days a week onsite)

The company: A leading household brand with over 5000 employees across the UK

Role and Responsibilities: Signify have partnered up with a UK household brand with an exceptionally large user base to work on a digital transformation project. As an Engineering Manager, you will stay close to the codebase and help scale a new small engineering team of 4 engineers to begin with.

Job Requirements:

• Over 8 years experience in software engineering
• Experience with Scala and Javascript projects
• AWS is nice to have
• Good people management skills
• Some technical skills to offer technical leadership
• Ability to lead and manage a team, overlooking the product goals for the wider business
