Engineering Site Manager - Semiconductor Startup - ASIC/SoC - Optical Communications

Lumicity are partnered with an exciting, fabless semiconductor startup that is shaped to revolutionize AI infrastructures and cloud connectivity through their DSP innovations.

Our client is looking for an inspirational, hands-on technical Engineering Site Manager to establish and lead their Austin engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity that blends technical excellence with exceptional leadership, with the opportunity to be a leading figure within this growing startup.

Role: Engineering Site Lead

Location: Austin, TX - on-site 5-days per week

Salary: Competitive base PLUS equity options

The skills needed for the role include:

• 10 plus years' engineering leadership experience in ASIC/SoC design.
• Track record in ASIC development or one of the ASIC flow stages (RTL, Verification, Analog Design).
• Proven experience successfully delivering technical projects, on time to a high quality.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Previous experience working in a startup is .
• Ability to inspire, drive and instill a high-performing culture within engineering teams.
• Previous experience scaling engineering teams.
