Job Duties:

• Engages in extensive consultation with customers to identify needs.
• Develop core ideas for customized products.
• Directs associates in the Engineering Dept to create designs and prints.
• Ability to use modeling programs (i.e. Autodesk, AutoCAD)
• Leads evaluation of product design efficiency.
• Oversee, direct and develop Design Engineers and Detailers.
• Manage communication and relationships with clients, OEM's and any additional vendors.

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer License
• 4 year degree in a relevant engineering program or major
• Solid understanding of 2D and 3D modeling systems
• Adherence to strict confidentiality when dealing with OEM, customers and personal information
• Solid mechanical, analytical and technical skill set
