Engineering Manager\n\nAlexander Steele is working exclusively with a global food manufacturing business to recruit an Engineer Manager for their site in Buckinghamshire. This is a pivotal leadership role ensuring the reliability of plant equipment and infrastructure while promoting a zero-incident culture in line with regulatory standards and company policy. The role holder will aim to drive efficiencies in both work processes and capital projects.\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * Paying £70,000 + 10% discretionary bonus\n\n * 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays\n\n * 7.5% pension\n\n * Private health care\n\n * Life assurance x2 base salary\n\n * Monday – Friday (days)\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Oversee the maintenance of plant, buildings, and services to minimise downtime and stay within budget.\n\n * Develop a proactive maintenance schedule and ensure all service records are completed and up to date.\n\n * Manage engineering budgets, including spare parts, CAPEX, and external contractors.\n\n * Lead the HSE agenda for the site\n\n * Drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and energy efficiency.\n\nBackground Experience:\n\n * 8+ years of experience in food manufacturing, including 3 years in a managerial role\n\n * Have strong proficiency in data processing tools like SAP and Excel\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\n * NEBOSH Certification (desirable) OR experience overseeing HSE initiatives\n\n * Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.\n\nFor more information regarding this opportunity contact Lomond MacPherson
