The Role

We are seeking a proactive Engineering Manager to lead reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our operations. This leadership role focuses on minimising downtime, optimising maintenance, and managing infrastructure projects—while ensuring top-tier safety and compliance.



Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental, and insurance regulations.

Lead risk assessments and enforce contractor safety standards.

Drive energy optimisation across the site.

Oversee preventive maintenance and internal systems.

Act as technical authority and mentor for the engineering team.

Embed a culture of continuous improvement.



*



Manage budgets and optimise resource planning.



*



Oversee service contracts and strategic project planning.



*



Align engineering and production functions.



*



Deliver training for production teams.



*



Lead performance development for engineering staff.



*



Manage CAPEX and infrastructure projects from concept to delivery.



Person Specification



*



Degree or HND in Engineering or related field.



*



Strong maintenance background in highly automated or FMCG environments.



*



Proven leadership and project delivery experience.



*



Skilled in troubleshooting, innovation, and team development.



*



Strategic thinker with solid budgeting and communication skills.
