Role Overview:
We are looking for an Engineering Maintenance Planner to join a dynamic team in Essex. This newly created role focuses on transitioning from reactive to proactive maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CMMS systems, have a solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and be skilled in planning and scheduling maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute maintenance schedules, prioritising tasks to ensure optimal machine and plant performance.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure resources are available for planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Maintain and update CMMS systems, ensuring accurate work orders and performance records.
Manage spare parts and materials, liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
Qualifications: HNC/HND in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience: Proven experience with maintenance planning, including the use of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP). Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems is essential.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and organisational skills to liaise with various departments and suppliers.
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
