Technical Transformation Lead

Must have an Active DV Clearance

An opportunity is available for a Technical Transformation Lead to play a critical role within a large and complex MOD transformation programme. This programme spans multiple workstreams including cloud, networks, infrastructure, support, and workplace, each operating with different delivery methods. The Technical Transformation Lead will provide the technical and delivery alignment needed to bring coherence, structure, and consistency across the programme.

About the Role - Technical Transformation Lead

• As a Technical Transformation Lead, you will align multiple workstreams under a single, practical delivery approach suitable for both Agile and Waterfall environments.

• You will define and embed a consistent methodology such as SAFe, Agile, or Scrum, tailored to engineering led delivery.

• You will ensure alignment with ITIL frameworks so that live services transition into BAU in line with industry standards.

• You will work closely with engineering teams and programme leadership to translate complex technical activity into structured delivery methods.

• You will operate comfortably in ambiguity, adapting approaches to suit fast moving and evolving workstreams.

Key Skills - Technical Transformation Lead

• Strong hands on experience implementing SAFe and Agile at scale across complex technology estates.

• Practical application of ITIL frameworks within live BAU environments.

• Proven stakeholder management across technical and non technical teams.

• Ability to engage with engineering detail and apply appropriate delivery methods.

• Experience working within large scale transformation programmes.
