We are currently seeking resumes from qualified, responsible, self-sufficient, Engineering Interns to join our Irvine, California office. The ideal candidate will be motivated to develop and build their personal knowledge and skills to assist with the growth and success of the office. Job Description:
This role is to assist staff with engineering projects as needed. The essential functions and responsibilities will be to:
- Perform elementary engineering assignments and tasks
- Compile data
- Perform elementary design computation
- Prepare engineering plans
- General administrative tasks
This role will work under close supervision; receive specific and detailed instructions for the required tasks and results expected. This position will require an individual who is willing to perform a variety of tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Entry level
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel)
- Interpersonal and time-management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate (written & oral) with peers and understand engineering requirements
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation design software
- Valid driver's license, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier
