Engineering Intern.

Challenge:Prepare layouts, assembly and detail drawings for new or improved products.Prepares clearance/stack-up studies to ensure fit and function of productSelects and recommends material and hardware for new product designsPrepares Design/Drawings in accordance with both Company's procedures and design standards (ie. ASME Y 14.5, ASME Y and MIL-STD-100)3D Solid Modeling of components and assemblies as applicable to support Sales/Operation activitiesPerform analysis and calculations as required to support and justify DesignsAdditional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor Your Expertise: Minimum of two (2) years of CAD and engineering design experience related to designing new products from concept layout to detailed drawings for manufacturing (2D and 3D CAD) Strong analytical capability, able to perform tolerance/fit-up analysis for designsKnowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, NX, MathCAD, and ANSYSMust be a US citizen EDUCATION/TRAINING: Currently Enrolled in (4) year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Nuclear preferred) College or trade school education in mechanical drawing and related areas This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
