A specialist ground investigation consultancy in Exeter is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to support a growing workload across the South West.
The company delivers a mix of geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, with particular expertise in ground investigations, coal mining risk assessments, and slope stability analysis. Their work spans residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
The role:
Planning and supervising ground investigations
Logging soils and rock to current standards
Overseeing site works and subcontractors
Producing factual and interpretative reports
Supporting coal mining risk and slope stability assessments
Liaising with clients and project teamsRequirements:
Experience in ground investigation or engineering geology
Strong logging and reporting skills
Good understanding of geotechnical and geoenvironmental principles
Experience with coal mining risk or slope stability (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
