Engineering Geologist

Salary: £27,000 - £36,000



An excellent opportunity is available for an Engineering Geologist to join a respected ground investigation consultancy in Exeter. This position suits a geo-environmental or geotechnical professional looking to build on their experience and develop within a collaborative and well-supported team.



As an Engineering Geologist, your role will involve a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks, contributing to a variety of ground investigation projects across Exeter.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervising site investigations and drilling operations



Completing Phase 1 desk studies



Logging soil and rock samples



Monitoring groundwater and ground gas



Producing factual and interpretive reports



Supporting and mentoring junior team members



To be considered for this Engineering Geologist role, you should meet the following criteria:



Requirements:



Previous experience in an Engineering Geologist role



Strong site work and report writing skills



Relevant degree (Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Science or similar)



Full UK driving licence



Right to work in the UK



Ability to commute to Exeter
