Role Description

Job Title: Engineering Specialist

Location: Montgomery County, Maryland

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Engineering Specialist to join our team on a Montgomery County, Maryland project. This role involves managing projects and facilitating communication between Consultant Engineers and Right-of-Way Specialists. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in CADD, and a solid understanding of engineering principles. GIS skills are a plus.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role. The candidate should have experience in data modeling, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and automation to efficiently track and manage parcel information. A Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel Expert certification is .

Qualifications

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Experience in project management

• Background in Design and Roadway Design

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:

• Data modeling for engineering and right-of-way tracking

• VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for automation

• Spreadsheet automation to streamline parcel information tracking

• Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel Expert certification

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Certification -

• Proficiency in CADD software, such as MicroStation or AutoCAD

• Experience with GIS platforms, such as ArcGIS or QGIS , Excel / Database Expertise

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related
