You'll play a key role in shaping and managing configuration across multiple aircraft programmes, working at the heart of engineering, digital transformation, and programme delivery.This is a highly collaborative role where you will influence change, drive process excellence, and support the full lifecycle of aircraft configuration management. You'll be part of a forward-thinking environment focused on innovation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement.What You'll Be DoingAs an Engineering Configuration Manager, you will:Lead and manage end-to-end engineering change processes across aircraft programmesCoordinate configuration management activities to ensure delivery against time, cost, and quality targetsWork cross-functionally with Engineering, Programme, Airworthiness, Manufacturing, and wider teamsManage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment across complex programmesSupport and influence digital transformation initiatives , including PLM and automation strategiesOversee key configuration activities such as: Engineering Decision Dossiers (EDD)Modification Proposal Dossiers (MPD)Design Query Notes (DQN)Service Bulletin (SB) processes and mod closuresIdentify risks, anticipate challenges, and implement effective solutionsChampion best practice and continuous improvement across the Airbus communityContribute to innovation through opportunities in Digital Mock-Up (DMU) and digitalisation activitiesWhat We're Looking ForWe're keen to hear from candidates who bring a strong mix of technical expertise and stakeholder engagement skills.Essential:Proven experience in Configuration Management or Engineering Change ManagementStrong understanding of end-to-end change processesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to manage priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, complex environmentDesirable:Background in aerospace or engineering environmentsDegree, HNC, or equivalent experience in Engineering or AeronauticsExperience with configuration and PDM tools (e.g.
