We have Co-op opportunities available at all of our locations (Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Reedsburg, WI). Our Co-op program provides real-world experience including hands-on mentorship from our experienced engineering staff. This program is designed to expand students’ knowledge and help them become a well-rounded civil engineer. Students interested in this position should have an interest in pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assistance with infrastructure and site design including: street plans (plan & profile, cross sections, etc.), grading and erosion control plans, storm water management facilities, sanitary sewer systems, water distribution systems and storm sewer systems.
• Creates and updates detailed civil engineering work plans under the supervision of a qualified engineer.
• Preparation of quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Assistance with preparation of specifications.
• Assistance with the preparation of permit applications.
• Maintains a general understanding of all applicable local, state, and federal governmental requirements, Codes, Industry standards, and internal procedures and policies.
• Participate in construction and/or storm water management inspections.
• Assist with land surveying / construction staking.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for students pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, and candidates with great communication skills and a willingness to learn.
