Engineering Tutor (FE/HE)\nLocation: Southampton\nSalary: £40,000 per annum\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nAre you an Engineer who thrives on bringing complex concepts to life in the classroom? Boston Rose are working with a leading training provider seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join their team, teaching both Level 3 and Level 4 vocational courses to apprentices.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will deliver a defined set of specialist units, including:\n\n * Level 3 Engineering Materials\n\n * Level 4 Mechanical Science\n\n * Level 4 Project Management\n\n * Level 4 Engineering Design\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Deliver engaging classroom lessons tailored to individual learner needs.\n\n * Produce and assess assignments in line with awarding body requirements.\n\n * Mark and review coursework, providing clear and constructive feedback.\n\n * Monitor learner progress and put interventions in place where needed.\n\n * Contribute to team development and share best practice.\n\n * Maintain accurate records for quality assurance and funding compliance.\n\n * Undertake regular CPD to stay current with both industry and teaching practice.\n\nAbout You\n\n * Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.\n\n * Recognised teaching qualification.\n\n * Experience delivering Level 3 and/or Level 4 curriculum in engineering.\n\n * Strong subject knowledge in materials, science, project management and design.\n\n * Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills.\n\n * A proactive, innovative approach to teaching and problem-solving.\n\nBenefits & Work Environment\n\n * Permanent role with a salary of £40,000.\n\n * Supportive, inclusive and professional workplace.\n\n * Relaxed atmosphere and onsite parking.\n\n * Ongoing professional development opportunities
