Engineering
Location: Hybrid - Primarily Remote with one week onsite visits to our office in Bridgeport, WV (with potential travel to Morgantown, WV) at the beginning and 2-3 days onsite at the end of the program
Duration: 12 weeks (May 26th – Aug 14th in 2026)
About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Interns with backgrounds in Computer Science, MIS, or related fields to join our team at Trilogy. This offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development, machine learning/artificial intelligence, and DevOps engineering. Interns will contribute to real public-facing applications and develop features used directly by customers.
Key Responsibilities: As an Engineering , you will be assigned one of three focus areas based on skills and interests:
- Full-Stack Development:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and Angular.
- Participate in code reviews and testing.
- Machine Learning / AI:
- Build and train machine learning models.
- Analyze data and extract insights to improve product features.
- DevOps Engineering:
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Support cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Monitor application performance and reliability.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field with an anticipated graduation within 1-2 years
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with one or more of the following: Node.js, Angular, Python, ML frameworks, CI/CD tools, cloud platforms
Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience working building or maintaining a full-stack application
