Looking for a Biomedical Engineering Assistant!Candidates without experience are welcome to apply!Location: CentralWorking Hours: Mon-Fri, Office HoursJob Description: Provide technical support in the commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of medical equipment to all hospital personnelSupervise and ensure that all medical equipment maintenance work done by specialist vendors and appointed contractors meets quality standards and are in compliance to standardsUpdate and collect feedback from users regularly on the maintenance, performance, reliability and quality of medical equipmentCheck, analyse and investigate faults / complaints / hazards on medical equipment and assist Biomedical Engineers in mapping out and implementing necessary action plansEnsure quality of works conform to standards and practices set out by the hospital, including other quality initiatives driven by hospital and departmentPerform inventory management for supplies and spares needed for front line technical support, and assist in related documentationAssist Biomedical Engineers in coordinating services for medical equipment projects with vendors, contractors and appointed project consultantsOther ad-hoc duties as assigned Job Requirements: Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or related disciplinePreferably with 3-5 years’ of practical experience in a healthcare settingProficient in Microsoft Office applications, and able to provide technical support as neededPossess high standards of professionalism and able to communicate well with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
