ERS are supporting their client in their search for an Engineer/Welder 

This is a permanent role with an establish family run business based in Ellesmere port.



Main Duties



Ensure plant, equipment, and facilities are maintained correctly and are kept in good working order

Maximising output for all site processes

Responsible for ensuring all site systems (blending, processing, loading, unloading, transferring, etc) are kept in good working order

Risk Assessments and PTW

Inspections / Fault finding

Carrying out site checks & servicing

Defect management

Welding and fabrication and installation of bsp and schedule pipework

Experience of welding and fabrication

Product and process R&D

Production (starting up & closing down production systems, monitoring)

Assisting site Operators with their daily tasks, as required (loading tankers, processing paperwork, fuel production, site cleanliness etc)

Provide holiday and sickness cover for site Operators as required Requirements



Time served Engineer with relevant qualification (ideally Process or Mechanical)

Welding qualifications / experience

Excellent communication skills

Excellent organisational skills

Fork-lift truck training advantageous

IOSH, NEEBOSH (or equivalent) qualifications advantageous Hours



8 hour shift

Monday to Friday
