To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for an Engineer - Piping PRE - Manual valves who can help us succeed.
What will you be doing?
You will be working as Engineer - Piping PRE - Manual valves together with other colleagues in the Rosebank project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:
- Responsible for the technical side of manual valve procurement
- Establish technical requisitions and specification for procurement of valves and piping components
- Technical follow-up of deliveries, documentation and suppliers
- Technical queries
- Establish and maintain specifications for valves and piping components
- Other relevant tasks based on project requirements
We think you should have some of the following:
- BSc or MSc in relevant field
- Experience with- and knowledge of piping valves
- Knowledge of relevant standards and specifications used in the North sea
- Good understanding of ASME B31.3
- Experienced in use of EN 13480, Pressure Equipment Directive and knowledge of EN 13445
- General knowledge within computer technology
- Commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Fluent English, written and spoken
Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: December 2024 with option for extension
