Description :■ About Organization DivisionIP & Transport Eng. & Ops Division Division is mainly responsible for the construction, expansion, and improvement of the backhaul network that supports Rakuten Mobile's services.Backhaul construction work includes IP layer configuration of network equipment, WDM network construction of transmission equipment, wiring and construction of data centers and other location, and related coordination with vendors.■ Job duties[Planning]・Planning and formulation of a master plan for the mobile backhaul network (route, necessary paths, cost, schedule, and effectiveness).▪ Budgeting and obtaining approvals.・Negotiation and contracting with other carriers, equipment vendors, telecom contractors, etc. Arrangement and ordering of necessary equipment.・Manage cost, schedule, and resources.【Design】・Design, installation, and modification of mobile backhaul network・Resource management of network equipment・Simulation of WDM path reachability・Design of network configuration, equipment configuration, wiring, and equipment settings, and preparation of drawings and instructions・Provide instructions for construction, and incorporate feedback from construction into drawings.■ Minimum Qualification・Knowledge and experience in network planning and design.・Experience negotiating with and managing carriers, vendors, and telecommunications contractors.・Knowledge and experience in project management and promotion.・Knowledge and experience in designing and constructing network equipment and transmission networks.・Knowledge and experience in preparing drawings (design and construction drawings) and instructions for transmission networks and network equipment installation and configuration.■Preferred Qualification・Experience in planning and designing transmission networks.・Experience in installation and operation of various network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).・Knowledge of WDM equipment, design experience, and implementation experience.・Experience in promoting efficiency and automation of design.Languages:English (Overall), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
