Engineer - Materials Handling Equipment\n\nLocation: Oxford, Oxfordshire\n\nSalary: £37,000 - £41,000 + Overtime\n\nHours: Rotating Days and Nights Shifts (6 Days, 1 off, 6 Days, 7 off, 6 nights, 1 off, 6 nights, 9 off)\n\nAre you a mechanically minded engineer looking for a site-based role with consistency, stability, and support? We are seeking a Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site in Doncaster. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities of the Engineer:\n\nCarry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of Material handling equipment\nDiagnose faults and identify cost-effective solutions\nBuild strong working relationships with the onsite team and customer\nEnsure accurate record-keeping and compliance with health & safety standards\nKey Requirements of the Engineer:\n\nStrong mechanical background - ideally from forklifts, automotive/vehicles, plant, or similar\nRecognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)\nPrevious experience in a similar engineering role (field or site-based)\nExcellent communication and fault-finding skills\nThe Engineer will Benefit from:\n\nRegular overtime available\nCompany pension scheme\nFull training and induction\nOngoing development and support\nTools and uniform provided\nIdeal Backgrounds:\n\nExperience working on FLTs or MHE\nAutomotive or vehicle mechanic experience\nEx-Forces with mechanical expertise\nIf you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.\n\nFor further details contact Matthew Lye at Pioneer Selection\n\nAs a registered candidate with Pioneer Selection Ltd, you automatically become eligible for our referral scheme. \n\nYou will receive £250 for every candidate we place in permanent employment who has been recommended by you.
