Position Summary

The Engineer I is responsible for delivering high-quality engineering and design documents that meet project success criteria. The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, internal teamwork, and adherence to organizational core values, including Relationships, Advocacy, Unity, Accountability, Responsibility, Growth, and Excellence. Key responsibilities span client interaction, technical design, quality assurance, and personal development in preparation for licensure as a Professional Engineer.

Requirements

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Valid driver's License
  • 0–2 years of experience.
  • : Registration as Engineer-in-Training (EIT).

• Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and financial functions.
  • Basic level of computer-aided design using AutoCAD, Civil3D .
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs. or more.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and travel overnight occasionally.

• Work Environment:

  • Office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Occasional fieldwork in varying weather conditions and noisy construction sites.
