- Base Salary: $24–$28 per hour
- Starting Bonus: No signing bonus offered
- Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

We’re seeking an Aircraft Engine Builder ready to relocate and bring their expertise to a shop that prizes quality above all else. Here, you’ll assemble and test piston aircraft engines that demand absolute precision — in a city where your dollar stretches further and weekends are yours.Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, repair, and test engine subcomponents to manufacturer specifications
- Interpret and apply Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and overhaul manuals
- Inspect and verify parts before installation
- Confirm vendor repair documentation for accuracy
- Perform precision measurements with micrometers, bore gauges, and related tools
- Conduct in-process inspections during assembly
- Test performance using approved shop procedures and equipment
- Troubleshoot and correct issues uncovered during testing
- Keep thorough build records
- Assist the Shop Foreman and leadership team as needed
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of aircraft engine build/maintenance experience
- Consideration given to skilled diesel or motorcycle mechanics with precision engine assembly experience
- Strong knowledge of reciprocating aircraft engine theory and function
- Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools
- Solid math ability and detail
- Owns basic hand tools
Ideal Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
- Strong pride in craftsmanship and quality standards
