This is how you will grow:

Develop and optimize the structure of battery cells, modules, packs, and system designs through virtual engineering techniques.

Develop and validate methodologies to simulate electro-thermal-mechanical behavior of batteries, including:

o Vibration, shock, and crush tests

o Short circuit analysis

o Swelling behavior

o Aging processes

o Cooling and preconditioning

o Thermal runaway scenarios

Plan and execute experiments to develop and refine these methodologies.

Collaborate with customers to identify challenges and suggest improvements.

Communicate findings clearly and constructively, maintaining ongoing technical discussions on unresolved issues.

Expand EDAG's presence in automotive and industrial applications.

Requirements:

This is how you will take us forward:

M.S./Ph.D. in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent (B.S. with 5+ years of experience acceptable).

3+ years of experience working on energy storage systems; experience with battery integration is a plus.

Strong understanding of electrochemistry at the cell level, as well as battery structural and thermal behavior.

Knowledge of CAE tools such as Ansa/Meta, LS-Dyna, Nastran is a bonus.

Programming skills in Python and Matlab are advantageous.

Proficiency in root cause analysis and resolution.

Skilled in data processing and statistical analysis.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong English skills, both spoken and written.

Self-motivated with initiative to solve technical challenges.
