Energy Marshal

An Energy Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of energy systems during construction and commissioning, especially in complex environments like data centers.

Responsibilities

Oversee and enforce electrical safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations, such as NFPA 70E and OSHA.

Review documentation, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on energy isolation procedures.

Coordinate energization and de-energization activities with various stakeholders.

Participate in high-risk activity planning meetings related to energy isolation.

Maintain and update relevant documentation, such as single-line drawings.

Essential Skills

Extensive experience in construction and electrical systems.

Strong understanding of safety standards like NFPA 70E and OSHA.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

More than 10 years of experience in electrical contracting.

Quality-minded with an ability to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Work Environment

The role requires working in complex environments like data centers, emphasizing adherence to strict safety protocols and effective coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.
