IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Working Pattern: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days per week on site

Driving Licence: Essential

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Energy Management Engineer to join a cutting-edge electrical systems team within a world-class automotive manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end development, integration, validation, and delivery of energy management hardware across multiple programmes.

The role is ideal for a proactive engineer with a strong foundation in energy systems, component delivery, diagnostic tooling, and cross-functional collaboration. Your work will directly impact vehicle energy performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction through robust hardware and systems integration.

Key Responsibilities of the Energy Management Engineer:

Develop, integrate, validate, and sign off energy management hardware across various vehicle projects.

Review and approve circuit diagrams (Schaltplans), support ECU communication, and lead functional troubleshooting using diagnostics.

Support compliance, Functional Safety, and Golden Rules activities including processes such as ENG (Apply online only) (Emissions Control Module Application).
