ENERGY AND BMS CONTROLS MANAGER Mobile Across UK Overview: As an Energy and BMS Controls Manager, you will be responsible for developing bespoke BEMS solutions for each site in the portfolio and will work closely with colleagues in the Energy Team and Site FM's to ensure that the building and energy management system (BEMS) on each site delivers the required environmental conditions in the most energy-conscious way possible. You will develop and implement energy optimisation strategies for our customers in a wide range of sectors. You will also develop and deliver a pipeline of energy saving opportunities through low/no cost targeted optimizations, capital projects, and smart building technology. What you will be doing: Develop bespoke BEMS solutions for each site in the portfolio, Develop and implement energy optimisation strategies for our customers in a wide range of sectors, Understand the application of building services assets and how the building management system interacts with the major energy using equipment to identify opportunities to reduce energy and carbon use, Confidently engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of identified energy saving opportunities, Maintain records and evidence to comply with our standard processes and contract obligations, covering both IPMVP savings methodology and customer audit, Understand and interrogate utility data (half hourly, submetering, etc) and operational data (Building Management Systems) to understand how energy is being used. What you will need to be successful: Experience in BEMS programming and the use of the Trend System Engineering Tools (SET). Other BEMS experience, such as Cylon, Tridium and Siemens, is desirable, Experience in setting up and maintaining Trend IQ networks and remote communications. Have a sound knowledge of Trend IQ 2,3 and 4 programming and commissioning, Excellent understanding of building mechanical & electrical building services including HVAC and lighting control systems, Strong knowledge of data centre and IT environments is desirable. Strong knowledge of BEMS communications protocol such as BACnet and Modbus. The position is a hybrid role that will require remote working and site-based works as appropriate to support our customer's property estates.
