EMC Project Engineer

Copello have partnered with an estabilshed engineering business based in Stevenage or Bristol, in the recruitment of an EMC Project Engineer.



About the Role

You’ll be part of a project-focused EMC group working alongside engineering teams to ensure EMC requirements are well understood, implemented, and verified. This includes:



* Writing technical documentation (ERSs, EMC Control/Proving Plans)



* Supporting product development with EMC strategies



* Reviewing designs for EMC robustness



* Occasionally conducting informal testing or hands-on reviews



What You’ll Need



* Background in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar



* Understanding of EMC design principles



* Able to manage deadlines and work within budget



* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills



Desirable:



* Familiarity with military EMC standards (e.g. Def Stan 59-41, MIL-STD-461, DO160, etc.)



* Previous experience in defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated sectors



Due to project requirements, candidates must be British or Dual UK . Security vetting (BPSS) will apply.
