About the Role: We are currently looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) to join an agile, cross-location development team in Stuttgart.
This role focuses on C++ embedded software development in a safety- and security-critical environment and is not suitable for career starters.
Key Responsibilities (Aufgaben)
- Collaborate within an agile, distributed development team
- Design and implement embedded software components in C++
- Develop software in a security- and safety-critical environment
- Analyze, debug, and fix software defects
- Perform testing, integration, and validation of embedded software
- Support approval and release processes
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability
Required Qualifications (Qualifikationen)
- University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
- Advanced experience in object-oriented software development
- Advanced knowledge of C and C++
- Solid experience with embedded Linux environments
- Good working knowledge of Python
- Professional experience in safety- or security-related software projects
- Negotiation-level German (Verhandlungssicher)
- Basic English skills
Nice to Have (Wünschenswert)
- Experience with systemd and D-Bus
- Knowledge of CMake
- Familiarity with regulated or high-security development environments
