Electronics Technical Manager

Day shifts: Monday –Thursday 8:30am–5pm and 8:30am–2pm Fridays
Starting salary: £40,000 per annum
Permanent position

We are currently hiring a technical manager for an electronics business in the Nottingham area, to join their team and to take ownership of engineering projects.

Your day to day would involve:
• Acting as the bridge between design engineering, manufacturing, and the customer.
• Taking ownership of technical direction of engineering projects
• Overseeing the delivery of electronic products
• Leading the full cycle of product development
• Managing a team of electronics operatives
• Ensuring designs are optimised for manufacturability, cost, and reliability
• Contributing to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Pushing continuous improvement across engineering and production processes

We are looking for an individual who:
• Experience working within electronics manufacturing environment
• Previous leadership or team management experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture
