Job Description
Join a growing recycling company and help give electrical equipment a second life. Olital Recycling processes and refurbishes solar storage systems, batteries and a wide range of electrical items. We are looking for an experienced Electronics Repair Technician who can work confidently and independently from day one.
Important note: Only apply if you already have hands on repair experience. This is not a trainee role.
About the Role:
You will test, fault find and repair electrical and electronic equipment including inverters, LiFePO4 batteries, IT hardware, UPS units, chargers, power supplies, PCBs and other WEEE items. Your work helps identify what can be reused, refurbished or safely recycled.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test and repair inverters, lithium battery packs and BMS systems
• Repair and assess general electrical items such as IT hardware and UPS units
• Carry out PCB repairs and replace components where required
• Perform electrical testing and record results clearly
• Support correct handling and storage of electrical items and batteries
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
What You Must Already Have:
• Proven repair experience with electrical and electronic equipment
• Experience with inverters and lithium batteries
• Strong fault finding skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Good understanding of electrical safety and test equipment
