Job Description

An Electronics Design Engineer is required to join an established business in Reading, on a 12 month contract basis. The successful Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of complex multi-layer circuits for electronic displays used for defence systems.\n \nDue to the nature of the work, the successful Electronics Design Engineer will be required to gain SC security clearance, and be prepared to work onsite in Reading, Berkshire.\n \nEssential Skills & Experience:\n\nStrong background in designing complex multi-layer PCBs\nProficient in PCB CAD tools such as Altium, Cadence, Mentor. Altium .\nDesign and develop multi-layer PCBs between 4–12+ layers for complex electronics\nGood understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, and high-speed design principles\nExperience working with IPC standards and PCB fabrication constraints \nDesirable Skills:\n\nExperience in highly regulated sectors such as medical, nuclear, aerospace, defence.\nRigid-flex or HDI PCB design experience\nC/C++ Programming for microcontrollers \nApply with your latest CV to be considered for this Electronics Design Engineer contract opportunity
