Hardware design and development
\n
Power supply design (AC-DC SMPS, DC-DC converters)
\n
Schematic capture and PCB layout for high-speed and high-power applications
\n
EMI/EMC standards and compliance
\n
Reliability standards
\n
Digital communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and RS485, display interfaces.
\n
Component engineering,
\n
Power budgeting and thermal analysis for high-power applications
\n
\n
Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent relevant work experience (required)
\n
\n
5 -10 years of experience in product design, development, and implementation required.
\n
Electrical hardware design experience involving mixed signal designs, power supply designs, processor-based designs, cable designs.
\n
Identifying low-cost alternates to off the shelf parts such as monitors, printers, card readers, scanners, etc.
\n
Experience in design for manufacturability, FMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis is a plus.
