An R&D engineering business is looking for a practical, hands-on Electronic Technician to support a wide range of test equipment, PCBs, and instrumentation.



You’ll be joining a small support team working on advanced engineering and simulation projects - a great opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, real-world technical work in a collaborative environment.



Day-to-Day:



* Building and modifying electronics systems from schematics



* PCB fault-finding, soldering, rework and diagnostics



* Supporting instrumentation setup for data acquisition and test rigs



* Performing and recording equipment calibrations



* Maintaining documentation, registers and lab setups to support project teams



* Working to quality standards in lab and cleanroom environments



You’ll Need:



* Apprenticeship, HNC, or hands-on technician experience in electronics



* Good understanding of basic electronics and confidence with test tools



* Comfortable with circuit diagrams, wiring harnesses, sensors



* Practical approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn



* Experience in a structured engineering environment (production, test, or calibration)
