Walsh Door & Security is seeking to hire experienced Electronic Security Installation Technicians!

Job Requirements:
- No experience necessary but must be dependable, professional, and have strong technical / mechanical skills. Ideal candidate will have experience in low voltage cabling, control systems, or networking.
- Must have clean background and driver’s license.
- The position requires medium lifting of materials and frequent to constant standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, walking, climbing, carrying, handling, lifting, punching, pulling, reaching, seeing, and the ability to distinguish between colors accurately.
- Pre-employment fit test, drug screen, and background check are required.
- Typical schedule is Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Hours WILL VARY depending on workload and may require 50+ hours per week during peak times.
- Some travel and overnight stays are required only on weekdays.
Job Duties:
- Pull, fish, and terminate low voltage cable for access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems. • Install and troubleshoot electronic security systems including electrified door hardware.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with local contractors and customers.
- The successful candidate will have the desire to take on more responsibility with experience.
