This job will a contribute to the design of cutting-edge turbo machinery technologies. The candidate for this job will help expand our knowledge and capability of turbo machines and other aerospace hardware used for both military and civilian applications by overseeing development programs that involve testing and troubleshooting many aspects of Aerospace hardware. Are you ready to help us make the future? Key Responsibilities
Prepare, scan, and analyze hardware using 3D scan technology
� Perform static stress testing, hydrostatic testing, CG/MOI measurement
� Support testing phases: setup/run/tear down
� Perform modal testing, acoustic ring signature testing, electro-dynamic vibration shaker testing, and laser vibrometry testing
YOU MUST HAVE
� High School Diploma or GED
� An understanding of high-speed data acquisition, strain gages, thermocouples, LVDTs, load cells, accelerometers, and signal conditioning
� Experience with 3D scanning, GD&T, vibration shaker control, electro-hydraulic control, basic machine shop functions and modal testing
� Familiarity with RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD 810 Vibration and Shock sections
� Have practical experience working with engineering equipment
� Able to mentally conceptualize and manipulate 3D objects
� Willingness to travel occasionally to support multiple sites to drive test plans forward
� A work ethic that places safety and data quality as the highest priorities, and possess good verbal and written communication skills
� Be able to find effective solutions based on good mechanical and physics intuition
� Sound technical judgment and opinions
� Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting
� Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
