Senior Electronics Design Engineer – Salisbury (on-site)

Most electronics jobs mean tweaking someone else’s circuit, fixing bugs, or pushing components around a PCB until the CAD tool stops shouting at you.

This isn’t one of those jobs.

You’ll be right at the heart of R&D, designing the electronics for next- hi-fi systems and loudspeakers. That means working across the full design cycle: digital circuits with DSPs, FPGAs, DACs/ADCs and high-speed interfaces; power supply design (both linear and switch-mode); analogue simulation for filters and amplifiers; schematics, PCB layout, EMC/ESD testing and finally handing over to production.

You won’t be sat in a silo either. The team is cross-functional, so you’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with embedded software engineers, mechanical designers, and test engineers. Expect to spend time debugging prototypes, running compliance tests, and reviewing designs with your peers.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around modern digital design, can handle high-speed signals, and still enjoys rolling up their sleeves in the lab with an oscilloscope and a stubborn prototype.

The role is based in Salisbury, it’s office-based using specialist design and test equipment that you won't have at home (unless you live in an anechoic chamber) with some flexibility for remote working (this isn’t one of those four-days-remote gigs), and the salary goes up to around £65k with comprehensive benefits.
