Electronic Development Engineer

Job Description

We are actively recruiting an Electronic Engineer for an established and fast growing business. You will be working within a dedicated team of development engineers where you will be working on both hardware and software product development and build\n * Design test applications\n * Electronic system design\n * Develop hardware and software test specifications\nResponsibilities:\n * Design and develop electronic test specifications and applications for test equipment.\n * Ensuring that procurement, design, development implementation is within project scope.\n * Test Development\n * Solving a range of Problems in test applications including Mechanical, Electrical or Pneumatic.\n * Electro-Mechanical Assembly including wiring, soldering and Crimping\n * Produce and Control Engineering drawings.\n * Support project proposals and specifications.\nRequirements\n * Formal engineering qualification in electronic and electrical engineering to degree (1st Ideally)\n * A Level (or equivalent) Maths, Physics, Design Technology, Electronics.\n * GCSEs at Grade B or above\n * 3-4 years post degree experience in an electronic manufacturing environment\nEssential Competencies\n * Hands on Product development and build of electro-mechanical products\n * Hardware and Software experience including Labview or similar\n * Functional Test plans and scripts (Labview)\n * Knowledge developing and working with ATE solutions (A Must Have)\n * Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on a variety of projects.\n * Strong verbal communication and written skills at all levels.\n * Methodical thinking and problem solver\n * Attention to detail.\n * Able to work well in a fast paced environment\n * Strong project Planning and time management skills\n * IPC soldering experience beneficial\n * Sponsorship potential ONLY for highly experience Test Development Engineer within Functional Test Applications\n * Hold full UK or EU Drivers Licence.\n * Own transport required\n * Security checks will be required\nthis is an great opportunity to join an established and extremely busy and growing manufacturer with a very strong order book.
