What You’ll Do
- Design a mixture of digital and analogue circuitry for cutting-edge medical devices.
- Create flex-rigid PCBAs to maximise functionality in space-constrained devices.
- Optimise designs for usability and battery efficiency, ensuring long-lasting performance for users.
- Develop innovative electronic designs using Altium or similar ECAD tools.
- Translate user needs into robust technical solutions.
- Drive verification and validation activities to ensure safety and compliance.
- Lead technical reviews and champion best practices.
- Support production and sustain legacy products while managing component obsolescence.
- Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and EMC standards.
- Explore emerging technologies and integrate them into our roadmap.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers for quality and timely delivery.
- Contribute to Hazard Analysis and DFMEA for electronics.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in electronics design engineering.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Altium or similar ECAD tools
- Schematic design, DFM/DFT
- PCBA debug, test, and integration
- EMC countermeasures/testing
- NPI and product sustaining
- Knowledge of global quality/regulatory standards and risk management.
- Ability to design complex, real-time processor-controlled architectures.
- A natural collaborator who builds trust and inspires confidence.
