Great opportunity for a talented Electronic Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing company who are offering great training and progression opportunities and the chance to work on highly technical, challenging projects.

This company has been around for over 30 years designing and producing bespoke systems for subsea applications. They also work on developing a number of items for challenging environments, they are experts in understanding how challenging environments affect complex machinery and design effective solutions to overcome this.

In this role you will be responsible for digital and analog circuit design and producing PCB layouts and schematics. You will participate in detailed electrical product designs from concept to delivery, build prototype hardware and carry out bench testing for design validation and refinement.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and knowledge of working in high voltage (e.g., 1kVAC 3-ph, 5kVDC) power switching and distribution. You will have experience with HV safety systems such as RCD and Line Isolation Monitoring, test tools such as oscilloscopes and some experience of embedded programming of microcontrollers.

The Role:

*Based in Leeds office with some flexibility to work from home

The Person:
