We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Bench Engineer based in Northampton to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Electronic Bench Engineer
Salary: £34,000 - £35,000 basic
Location: Northampton
Type of Contract: permanent
Hours: 37.5 hour working week
Responsibilities of the Electronic Bench Engineer
Analyse, measure, repair and test industrial electronics.
Quickly fix defects and malfunctions.
Diagnose and repair electronic equipment at the component level.
Testing and optimising repaired equipment.
Soldering.
Create and maintain technical documentation of work.
Requirements for a successful Electronic Bench Engineer
Previous Electronic Repair experience at the component level.
Strong working knowledge of electronic components and drives/motors.
Able to recognise malfunctions and errors in measuring and testing equipment.
Driving licence required.
Lift experience would be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills with experience creating technical documentation.
