Position Overview
Location: Vancouver, WA (Onsite)
Shift: 7:30am – 4:00pm
The Electronic Assembly Technician will contribute to the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic systems that support our innovative projects. The role will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing electronic components, ensuring they meet quality control standards and project specifications. You will work collaboratively with engineers and other technicians, providing hands-on support for various electronic devices and systems. This role requires a solid foundation in electronics theory and practical application, as well as a keen problem-solving mindset. You will be expected to stay current with the latest technological trends and advancements in the field of electronics. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our electronic systems.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble and test electronic components and systems based on specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic devices, ensuring functionality and safety standards are met.
- Calibrate and modify existing electronic systems to improve performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electronic equipment, identifying any potential issues before they arise.
- Document repair procedures, testing results, and updates to system configurations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new electronic solutions.
- Maintain an organized workspace, including inventory management of electronic components and tools.
Who You Are
- Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with digital and analog processing
- 5 years of proven experience as an electronic technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electronic principles and circuitry.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, or other instruments for testing and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
