You clock in at sunrise and build mission-critical equipment that keeps facilities running around the world. Your day blends precision craftsmanship with hands-on problem-solving—assembling components, checking tolerances, and verifying quality so every unit performs reliably in the field. You read blueprints and method sheets, select the right tools, and collaborate with teammates to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.
Location, schedule, and pay
- Location: West Chester, PA (Zeks Compressed Airs - 1302 Goshen Pkwy. West Chester, PA 19380)
- Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Compensation: $20–$24 per hour, based on experience

What you'll do
- Assemble parts and subassemblies on progressive lines across the plant following standard work.
- Interpret and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, blueprints, and print drawings to determine dimensions, materials, and sequence.
- Operate pneumatic power tools and hand tools; use measuring devices (tape measures, levels, calipers, micrometers) to confirm fit and finish.
- Identify and address quality issues and unsafe conditions; maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
- Perform tasks such as brazing, soldering, machine/press operation, hanging and removing parts, and running inspections/tests.
- Load and unload to conveyors/carts; operate forklifts and hoists.
- Care for tools and equipment; submit work orders for repairs when needed.
- Partner with teammates across areas, jump in where needed, and suggest process improvements.
- Manage basic supply needs: monitor stock, anticipate usage, place/expedite orders, and verify receipts.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by a supervisor or team lead.
What you bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints

- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Hands-on skill with wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with business processes
