Summary

As part of a team, this position repairs, builds, assembles, tests, prepares for shipping of electrical and mechanical products following instructions.

Primary duties and Responsibilities
\n

- Operates within standard operating procedures.
- Cleans and maintains work area.
- Complies with safety procedures
- Assemble mechanical subassemblies.
- Verifies operation of assemblies to documented standards.
- Rejects or reworks products outside of specifications.
- Tests or assists in testing product operation.
- Initiates work without direct supervision.
- Operate forklift to move raw materials, subassemblies, and production machines.
- Continuously looks for ways to improve workflow and processes.
- Maintains the assigned schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance, machine shop, or technical experience is , but not required.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
