Overview:

A long-standing global manufacturer in the printed products and packaging industry, is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to support their automated production operations. This role performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electromechanical and robotic equipment to keep high-speed production lines running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on automated production and packaging systems.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and assist with PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000 and Siemens S7 ).
  
  
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  
  
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  
  
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation through CMMS.
  
  
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  
  
• Follow all plant safety requirements, PPE policies, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance or mechatronics.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation, sensors, motors, and drives.
  
  
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
  
  
• Technical degree or equivalent training in industrial maintenance or related field.
  
  
• Comfortable working around automated systems and high-speed equipment.
  
  
• Able to lift to 50 lbs. and work on equipment requiring bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
  
  
• Experience within a printing or packaging environment is highly .
